ISRAEL CERAMIC &
SILICATE INSTITUTE

About ICSI

ICSI is a research organization the main business of which is the effectuation
of technological studies on topics related to the domain of ceramics and glass engineering.

ICSI also offers toll services regarding processing and characterization operations in this field.  The institute’s business profile, structure, know-how, equipment and main research domains are described by this site.

It was created and developed by the joint effort of the Israeli government, the US government (through USOM), the UN and the ceramics and glass industry.
This new Institute incorporated into it the “Ceramic Research Association”, which operated between 1948 and 1963.
